3 Easy Flavored Margarita Recipes — We’re taking a little inspiration from our Glossary of Color series to make these colorful flavored margaritas…

How cool are these colorful co*cktails?! I had way to much fun with these Glossary of Color Margaritas!

, Ashley, got to play with both booze AND paint which doesn’t always equal a pretty outcome, but these turned out beautiful and tasty.

With Cinco De Mayo quickly approaching, I knew wanted to do a trio of tequila tipples.

Because this wasn’t youraverage co*cktail post, I had to think about colors and layout first vs. ingredients (it’s usually the other way around.)

I chose red, orange, and yellow hues to create a cohesive citrusy scene.

From there I decided on flavors, sticking to fruits in the same color family for each: Strawberry Watermelon for red, Pineapple Lemon for yellow, and Kumquat Orange for the, well, orange…

They all turned out lipsmackingly good and equally delicious, like they-go-down-way-to-easy kind of delicious!

Pick one to mix up based on your mood or host a fiesta and make them all! Personally I vote make them all, but clearly we’re all color lovers here, ha! Happy Cinco de Mayo in advance!

Best Strawberry Watermelon Margarita Recipe

Strawberry Watermelon Margarita

Strawberry watermelon margarita is easy flavored margarita to whip up really quickly!

2 1/4 oz blanco tequila
2 oz fresh watermelon juice
2 oz fresh strawberry juice
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1 1/4 oz amber agave syrup
1 watermelon slice
Salt for rimming

Nutrition

Servings: 1

Calories: 309kcal

Instructions

Pour kosher salt onto plate, and run a lime slice around the edge of a glass then invert and rim the glass with salt.
Juice all the fruits.
Add all the ingredients except for the garnish to a shaker with ice and shake for 15 seconds.
Double strain (to remove pulp) into the salted glass with ice, then garnish and enjoy!

0.5 oz orange liqueur, I used dry curaçao
1.5 oz fresh orange juice
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz amber agave syrup
4 kumquats, muddled
2 kumquats skewered and salt rim for garnishing
