‘11-’19 Sea-Doo GTI SE 155 Hull and Deck

By 2011, Sea-Doo revamped its entire GTI family, and the GTI SE 155 was no exception.

Let’s face it, the previous (2006-2010) GTI platform became outdated during that timeframe. It was made of cheap materials in some spots and featured an old-school design.

Unlike its obsolete predecessor, the all-new GTI top deck featured very appealing angular lines and a lot of innovative features. The length of the body was slightly increased while being shortened in height.

This ensured a lower center of gravity and better stability. Below the waterline the hull of the ski remained unchanged.

In terms of dimensions, the 2011- Sea-Doo GTI models measured 132.6 inches in length, 48.5 inches in width, and 44 inches in height.

The dry weight of the new model was 755 pounds, 8 pounds heavier than its predecessor.

Regarding capacities, the overall load capacity remained at 600 pounds but the combined storage space jumped from 12.4 gallons to 30.8 gallons.

The 15.9-gallon fuel tank was carried over to the new model and the deflective Off-Power Assisted Steering (OPAS) was finally eliminated.

This new GTI platform has remained basically the same from 2011 until today without any significant changes.
